Airline...Security?

  1. Coming from a Security Management background I can say 85% of any procedures done by the airlines is what we call in the industry "Security Theater" nothing more. It all goes down to budget, rather than spend money on effective technology, training and hiring qualified and experienced personnel to deal with the unique issues of vulnerability associated with airports they rather just abuse the patriot act, infringe everyone's rights, and give the illusion that everything is safe.
